The training covers the various stages of instrument reprocessing, from cleaning and disinfecting instruments to packaging and sterilization of them. The training equips participants with the skills to carry out high-quality instrument reprocessing. The goal of the training is to increase understanding of the importance of instrument reprocessing and to guide the correct implementation of instrument reprocessing. The training includes current information on the role of instrument reprocessing in infection prevention. During the training the participants will become familiar with aseptic working methods, standard precautions, as well as the cleaning and disinfecting, packaging, and sterilization of instruments.
