Aida Educare Ltd. is also known as the Finnish Education Learning and Development Centre.
The training group is scheduled to start in autumn 2025. The Chinese students will participate in the training provided by Taitotalo in Finnish. After graduation, the students are expected to be employed in Finland.
– Our goal is to elevate the status of vocational education in China. So far, Chinese parents have not regarded vocational education as equally valuable as academic education, the founder of the Finnish Education Learning and Development Centre Jin Muranen says.
– Secondly, we also would like to provide overseas students a different career path and a different lifestyle while promoting the export of Finnish education to China and the world, Muranen continues.
Jin Muranen has been promoting Finnish education to China for over 20 years. She is specialized in environmental education. Her own kindergarten featured with nature and environmental education in Finland has been providing local students with work-based learning opportunities.
Students' aptitude and language skills are checked before the training
Students are selected through aptitude and language tests. Students selected for training participate in Finnish language training before starting their vocational studies. During their undergraduate education in the field of social and health care, students continue their Finnish language studies at Taitotalo, so that their language skills develop to the level required by Finnish working life.
– We are very happy about this new cooperation and agreement and the opportunity to train skilled professionals in Finland, Taitotalo’s CEO Leena Munter says.
Education exports ease the labour shortage in early childhood education in Finland
Through a cooperation agreement, Taitotalo and Aida Educare Ltd. are contributing to solving the labour shortage in early childhood education in Finland. The agreement represents an export of education, even though the students come to Finland. Aida Educare Ltd. is an official member of Education Finland, a Finnish Education Export steering platform operated by the Finnish National Agency for Education.
Once this group recruitment is complete, Aida Educare Ltd will launch more vocational education training programmes. The occupational fields will be selected according to the needs of the Finnish labour market.
