The first on-demand training will be an English language Further Vocational Qualification in Cleaning and Property Services, which will take about a year to complete. The aim is to have at least 20 students starting their studies this autumn.

The second is a training course for practical nurses, where students will complete a Vocational Qualification in Social and Health Care. Participants will first study Finnish in India for about six months before arriving in Finland, which will ensure that they have sufficient language skills to start the degree course.

Cooperation in education and training meets the needs of the labour market

Nuutti Manninen, Director of Sales and Marketing at Taitotalo, says that Finland and Taitotalo are attractive study destinations for Indian students thanks to Finland's good reputation and the high quality of its educational programmes.

– We have good experience of Indian students and believe that they will find employment in Finland in jobs that match their education, says Nuutti Manninen.

Scandinavian Skills Ltd. recruits students through its extensive and committed network of partners in India. These partners assist in identifying and screening potential applicants who meet the necessary qualification and motivation criteria.

– Finland is an attractive destination for Indian students due to its high-quality education system, strong job market, and excellent work-life balance. The country offers a safe and stable environment with plenty of vocational opportunities, says Samriti Kapoor, founding member and Chief Operating Officer of Scandinavian Skills.

The cooperation agreement provides Indian students with the opportunity to pursue their professional dreams and integrate into Finnish society through employment and language skills.
